Happy Christmas and thank-you

The big day has come and gone, and our blog update has been a little overdue, of course first we should wish all our readers a Happy Christmas, and hope that it was a good one.  Secondly a big big thank-you for all our gifts.  An especially big thank-you from our very spoiled little girl, who had some amazing gifts ... it took her all day to open them (!) and she even still has one left!

So for us, Christmas was at Wargrave and started with a traditional Christmas Eve chinese take-away that went down very well.  Then a mince pie, carrot and a glass of milk were left out for Santa before bed time!

Poppy did very well and slept until just before 7am, and at first did not notice that Santa had visited and she had a full sack of presents from Santa!

Then the opening began:

In fact the opening did not stop until late afternoon!

Christmas day was a good day, the food was very good, we were all spoiled with some lovely presents, and we all managed to stay awake for most of the day!

Boxing Day saw me having to work so the ladies of the family headed to Henley.

The other notable event of the Christmas period was a visit to Reading, and the Hexagon for the panto, Aladdin.
I think you could say it was semi-succesful.  Mum and Jo got to see Justin Fletcher, Mr Tumble to some .. Poppy lasted the first half, but found bits of it a little scary, so while the ladies enjoyed the second half, we took a wander to the Apple Store !

All in all, a lovely Christmas ... and the new year to come .. watch out Swindon!
