Tuesday was adult day .. ! Poppy went off to nursery and we decided to head to Gun Wharf and watch a film. We went for an early showing, so that we could follow it with a spot of lunch.
Toy Story 3 in 3D no less. And the verdict, superb! 3D rather than being just a gimmick actually, in my opinion, enhanced the film. It made it feels as if the film was being played out right in front of you, and not just on the screen.
The story was really good, and the last 15/20mins really grabs you and tugs on the heart strings ... you of course have to like animations to fully love it, but who does not like Toy Story!
Our film visit was followed by a trip to Wagamamas!
Poppy has actually watched the first two films, and for the vast majority she has sat there transfixed by them .. yep, our girl knows quality and a good film when she sees it!!
