It was another first for Poppy this morning when we decided to take her to the cinema for the first time. The film of choice, a Pixar animation movie, Cars 2.
And all in all, it was a good trip out. We had our doubts as previous trips to anything similar involving a large dark room with loud music has meant Poppy exiting as quickly as possibly. However, apart from a few comment of wanting to go home, which is Poppy's stock comment when she is unsure about anything, she was really good. She did have to have a 20 min nap mid film, but seeing as it was just under two hours, she did not miss much, and by the end she was sitting and watching the film and we think enjoying it!
So Poppy's first trip to the cinema was a success. Oh and we enjoyed the film too!
