I have today converted Poppy's cot into a bed! She is now a big girl. Although it took me two attempts to get her in it to sleep! The first attempt was rather pathetic resulting in us coming back downstairs for more milk!
The second attempt, I was being stubborn and would not let Poppy win! I turned off all the lights, shut the door and knelt beside her bed. She was having a tantrum, crying and stomping around in true teenager style! Kevin & Perry spring to mind! I put my head in my hands and prayed that Pop's would fall asleep fast! She came up next to me and I knew this was the time to pounce! I put her in bed and snuggled her in with the duvet and her fluffy blankets. Oh, and of course bunny!
I then sat with her for 20 mins until she fell asleep! RESULT! Now all we have to do is pray she stays there all night! The door is shut at the moment, but I think when we go to bed I will open it up. Hate to think of her as shut away!
