We were away from home over the last April weekend, and a stay away from home means an opportunity to have a cooked breakfast!
This breakfast was at the Oakley Court Hotel just outside Windsor, Berkshire.
It was a buffet style breakfast.
On the plus side there was a reasonable choice, hash browns were on the menu, which for me is always a bonus point. Two choices of eggs and proper English sausages. But can you notice from the picture, or what is missing from the list i have already given!
Beans, beans is the answer! How on earth can you have a cooked breakfast without the choice of having baked beans.
I know shocking, but there was no beans in sight. Tomatoes, but no beans!
Ok, so you get the picture. It was never going to get 10 out of 10. The only other down side would be cost, although this was part of the deal and we did not have to pay, but hotel breakfasts are never cheap.
Score: 7 out of 10.
